The program combines Lucy's historical commentary with dramatic re-enactments to tell the story of Henry and his six wives and how they each exerted their influence over the King. Henry was King of England from 1509 until his death in 1547, the second Tudor monarch. His six wives were Katherine of Aragon (divorced), Anne Boleyn (beheaded), Jane Seymour (died), Anne of Cleves (divorced), Catherine Howard (beheaded) and Kateryn Parr, who survived him.
