and conditions, please email us at mailorder@hrp.org.uk.
If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
you may not use or access this website.
Please also read our Privacy Policy section (which
forms a part of these Terms and Conditions) and covers personal information
provided by you, security and use of “cookies”.
We reserve the right to modify or withdraw this website without notice to you
and we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification
or withdrawal. We may also change these Terms and Conditions from time to time
without notice to you and your continued use of the site following such change

Definitions
“Product” shall mean a product displayed for sale on this website.
“We/us” means HRPE.
“Website” means the website located at www.historicroyalpalaces.com
or any subsequent URL which may replace it.
“You” means a user of this website.
Product Information
We have made every effort to display as accurately as
possible the colours of our products. However, as the
actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we
cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour
will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
All sizes and measurements are approximate.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details,
descriptions and prices of products are correct at the
time when the relevant information was entered on to the
system. However, the information may not always reflect
the exact position at the time that you place your order
and we cannot confirm the price of a product until your
order is accepted.
Prices are subject to change without notice and inclusive
of VAT at the current rates.
Products are subject to availability. As there is a delay
between the time when the order is placed and the time
when the order is accepted, the stock position relating
to particular items may change. If an item you have ordered
becomes out of stock before we accept your order, we shall
notify you as soon as possible.
Purchase of products
When you place an order request on our website we will email you an acknowledgement
of your intended order. At the time of dispatch of the
order the purchase contract will be made and you will
be charged.
Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract
between you and us will take place on the despatch to
you of the products ordered unless we have notified you
that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled
it in accordance with the instructions in Cancelling
an Order.
Any discounts triggered by the entry of a promotional
code will not be applied until the order is accepted but
will be detailed on the invoice.
We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by
you at any time in our sole discretion. However, non-acceptance
of an order is most likely to result from one of the following:
the product ordered being unavailable from stock; our
inability to obtain authorisation of payment; the identification
of an error within the product information including price
or promotion.
If there are any problems with your order we shall contact
you.
Payment
The total cost of your order is the price of the items ordered plus freight
charges as set out in the Delivery
Section.
Payment can be made by any method specified in the 'How
to buy from us' section which forms a part of these
Terms and Conditions
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates and
are correct at the time of entering the information on
to the system. VAT is deducted on the product price where
both the delivery and invoice address are outside the
EU, in accordance with Customs and Excise regulations
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation
checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer
of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason,
authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any
delay or non-delivery.
The payment charge is made at the point the order is dispatched.
Security
We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so,
to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of
negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer

Customs
When ordering products for delivery overseas, you will be subject to import duties and taxes that are levied once the package reaches its destination country. If there are additional charges for customs clearance, these costs must be borne by you, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what these may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Please note that when ordering from our on-line shop, you are considered the importer of goods and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country of your order. If a package is refused and has to be returned to us, you will be liable for the cost of this. Generally, customs forms for internal packages will list the value of the contents of your order by product type.
Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. You should be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, delivery and product information, such as items contents within an order, to our international carriers and such information may be communicated from the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
Cancelling an Order
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right
to cancel the contract for the purchase of any product for any reason within
seven working days, starting from the day after goods have been received by
the customer. Please note that your right to cancel does not apply to audio/video
recordings such as CD, DVD or videocassettes where the seal has been broken.
If you wish to cancel or change an order then please do so as soon as possible.
Please contact us on +44 (0)20 3166 6848 quoting your order number so that we
can try to cancel or amend the order before it is sent out.
Within hours of your order being received, it is packaged and ready for dispatch.
If this is the case, then we cannot always stop the order from being sent and
you will have to return it to us following delivery. We have a right to ask
you to pay to return these products to our warehouse. This will be the only
charge levied against you. All other monies will be returned to you including
the initial cost of shipping products to you. Where the products are not returned
to us, we may deduct the cost of recovering the products following cancellation.
In the event of a cancellation we will return your money within 30 days of notification.
Tracking an Order
Once you have completed your purchase we will begin to process your order.
You will be sent an email confirming when your order has
been dispatched. If we have been unable to process your
order, you will be contacted by email or phone by a member
of our customer services team.
