Using traditional methods these little amethyst studs are framed by rose cut marcasite in a pretty flower motif. Perfect for everyday wear, amethysts are the birth stone for February and provide a dramatic contrast against the dark marcasite.

Marcasite has been a popular stone since the time of Cleopatra, and these particular stones are mined in the Jura mountains in Switzerland where the best quality stones are found. Rose cut to showcase their natural sheen, these little marcasites have been dramatically set in sterling silver and frame a faceted purple amethyst.
