Catherine Parr was the sixth and last wife of Henry VIII and they were married at Hampton Court Palace. Catherine had a good relationship with Henry's three children and was involved in the education of both Elizabeth and Edward. Catherine is the most married English queen, having had four husbands in her lifetime. The head of this beautiful collectible doll is individually sculpted in porcelain, as are the hands and feet with lifelike set-in eyes. The hair is fashioned from soft mohair and all the features are delicately painted by hand.

The costume is made from brown and orange velvet, brocade and other rich materials; feather hat, head-dress and clothes are all finished off with the appropriate scale jewellery.
