    • The Great Pagoda at Kew Gardens

Originally completed in 1762 and restored to its natural glory in 2018, the Great Pagoda is a wonderful architectural example of how travels to the East shaped 18th century royals style and tastes.

At the time of completion the Great Pagoda was the largest and most ambitious building within Royal grounds, at 163ft tall the building was so exotic that many were unconvinced that it would stay standing. Inspired by the porcelain Pagoda at Nanjing the Great Pagoda was originally intended as a 'window' into Chinese culture and was adorned with eighty iridescent dragons and colourful paint work.

This beautiful Pagoda silver bangle has been designed in association with Clogau Gold and is the perfect gift for an enlightened princess.
