    • Product Information
      • This enchanting Dwynwen opal and 9ct rose gold ring is inspired by the three wishes of Dwynwen, the welsh patron saint of friendship and love. After her father refused her to marry a young man, Maelon, whom she had fallen in love with, she prayed to forget her love. Three wishes were granted to Dwynwen by an angel visiting in a dream. The first wish restored her love, the second for the hopes and dreams of true lovers to be met, and the third to devote her life in thanks for the wishes she had been granted.

Each wish is thoughtfully represented in the interlocking gold elements of the Clogau Dwynwen collection. The shimmering opal center symbolises the potion the angel also gave to Dwynwen to forget past hurt. A jewellery piece to cherish, each ring contains a nugget of rare Welsh gold used to create wedding bands for the Royal Family for nearly 100 years, including Her Majesty the Queen.
