This beautiful 21cm plate is designed exclusively for Historic Royal Palaces and belongs to the Royal Palace Crest Collection. Celebrating the creation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, the Palace Crest design features symbols of monarchy and national flowers.
The crest design is inspired by works of the Italian artist Antonio Verrio. The design incorporates elements from his mural found at Hampton Court Palace in the Queen's drawing room, depicting Queen Anne as Britannia receiving homage from the four quarters of the globe.
