Hand-painted egg cup of Queen Victoria's pet King Charles Spaniel, 'Dash'.
Inspired by Queen Victoria's King Charles Spaniel, 'Dash'; "the Queen's closest childhood companion".
Given to Victoria at age 13, Dash remained a loyal companion right through to her Coronation in 1838. Dash died in 1840, and was buried at Adelaide Cottage in Windsor Home Park with a marble effigy marking his grave.
