Jane Seymour was the third wife of King Henry VIII and succeeded Anne Boleyn as his queen following her execution.
Jane Seymour replaced the extravagant and lavish court lifestyle of the former queen with a more conservative household and her motto was "Bound to obey and serve."
Jane Seymour gave birth to a male heir, the future King Edward VI of England, at Hampton Court Palace but sadly died two weeks later.
Jane Seymour was the only wife of Henry VIII to receive a queen's funeral and is buried beside him in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
The head of this beautiful collectable doll is individually sculpted in porcelain, as are the hands and feet with lifelike set-in eyes.
The hair is fashioned from soft mohair and all the features are delicately painted by hand.
