The Great Helm comes from the Middle Ages and this helmet was used by knights in the crusades and by most European armies from approximately 1220 to 1540AD. Our fantastic children's Great Helm is a very high quality replica that looks like it is made of metal but is actually a lightweight plastic. The helmet is manufactured from quality polyurethane which means that it is unbreakable, this helmet can be stood upon and will return to shape! This helmet is great for fancy dress and stage playing and is the perfect accessory for any knight costume.
