To celebrate the life of Queen Elizabeth II, Royal Collection Trust has commissioned this exclusive English fine bone china mug finished in 22 carat gold.
The central element of the design is the personal cypher of Queen Elizabeth’s from the time when she was Princess Elizabeth. It is surrounded by depictions of the National Emblems of the United Kingdom: roses, shamrocks, thistles, and daffodils. The decorative borders incorporate flowers that were included in the bouquet resting on Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin during the State Funeral: roses, myrtle, rosemary, and oak leaves. The words are taken from His Majesty King Charles III’s first public tribute to Her late Majesty: "May flights of Angels sing thee to thy rest".
