Royal Victoria Orange and Dark Chocolate Shortbread Biscuits
A delicious crisp shortbread with a rich chocolate and tangy orange flavour, perfect for an afternoon treat. Inspired by Queen Victoria's love of chocolate, the shortbread biscuits are baked in Edinburgh using traditional methods. Considered a luxury ingredient and a favourite amongst the royal household, each shortbread contains silky dark chocolate, and exotic orange oil, expertly handcrafted by a small team of skilled bakers.
Exclusively designed for Historic Royal Palaces for the Royal Victoria collection, each tin contains approximately 7 orange and dark chocolate shortbread biscuits. The orange and gold design takes inspiration from Queen Victoria's small diamond crown, part of the Crown Jewels held in the Jewel House at the Tower of London and her handmade Honiton lace wedding flounce worn in 1840 at her wedding to Prince Albert.
