This exquisite Bloom Crown decoration is inspired by the extravagant ceremonial court mantua dresses worn at Kensington Palace in the Georgian period.  The ultimate 18th century fashion statement of wealth, refinement and taste was displayed in finest silk brocades, fantastically patterned and embroidered fabrics with flowers, fruits and shells, and is wonderfully captured in this opulent decoration. 

Designed exclusively for Historic Royal Palaces, this beautifully handmade decoration features gold and silver metal threads, embellished with beads, crystals, and silk thread embroidery, on a white velvet background with a foam filling.  A finely detailed inscription on the reverse in silver metal thread embroidery  reads "Crown to Couture". A wonderfully collectable memento to add a touch of the glittering world of the royal Georgian court to your home.
