      Traditionally baked in Scotland, the irresistible Royal Victoria stem ginger shortbread biscuits contain tangy stem ginger pieces and make for a wonderful accompaniment for a royal cup of tea. A much loved spice of Queen Victoria, her royal patronage meant stem ginger shortbread's quickly became a favourite Victorian recipe. Handmade in Edinburgh by baking experts the light and crunchy stem ginger biscuits are certainly a tempting treat

      The decorative purple and gold tin is designed exclusively for Historic Royal Palaces. The Royal Victoria range has been inspired by Queen Victoria and her childhood home of Kensington Palace. Featuring Queen Victoria's small diamond crown, now visible at the Tower of London, the delicate design takes inspiration from Queen Victoria's honiton lace wedding flounce worn in 1840.
