The souvenir collection - Imperial State crown
Worn during the annual State opening of Parliament, the Imperial State crown features Cullinan II, the second largest diamond in the world - 2005 being the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the diamond in South Africa. The crown was designed for Queen Victoria, and has been worn by virtually every monarch since. The original crown underwent several changes over the years, and was replaced by a new one in the same style for the coronation of George VI in 1936. It was worn by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1953 at her Coronation, and is now worn annually at The State Opening of Parliament. The original is kept safely in the Jewel House at the Tower of London but you can take home this collectable replica to remind you of the stunning Crown Jewels collection.
Each 1:12 scale model is entirely hand-made in England and cast in fine English pewter and plated in 22ct gold and silver. The originals can be seen at the Jewel House in the Tower of London.
Crown height 3cm.
