The first of an exclusively designed collection of The Royal Mint coins, 'The Legend of the Ravens' £5 brilliant uncirculated coin was created in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces to highlight the stories of the almost 1000 year old fortress.
At least six ravens are kept at the Tower under the careful watch of the Ravenmaster, it is said that if the ravens were to leave then the Tower and the kingdom will fall!

The first of a set of four commemorative coins designed and made by The Royal Mint in collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces. 'The Legend of the Ravens' coin features one of the Tower's famous ravens in front of a section of the historic fortresses walls.
The ravens today are cared for by the Ravenmaster and lead a pampered life where they enjoy blood soaked biscuits and even fried bread. The ravens reside at the Tower as it is said that if the ravens were ever to leave then the Tower and the kingdom would fall - hence why six reside safely within the fortresses imposing and ancient walls.
This £5.00 UK sterling coin is a brilliant and uncirculated coin, displayed in its own protective blister and with its own information pack.
